I stepped outside today and snapped a couple more photos of this flowering tree. I was able to get a lot of bee photos this time and I just wanted to share this one real quick.

Flowers on a tree
So I just got a new lens, the Sigma 28mm f/1.8. I love the wide angle on it and it works great for taking macro type photos, so I had to try it out on some flowers. I wish I knew what kind of tree this was, but it’s just outside on our land. I’ve seen them quite a few places while I drive to and from Blanco. I think it must be some kind of tree that just “grows” like the cedars and oaks. I plan on taking some more when I can get a good blue sky background, but here’s what I got for now.
